ANNE WOOD

Anne Wood: Background

Anne Wood is the founder and creative director of Ragdoll, whose work is loved by children around the world. Since 1984, Ragdoll has produced more than 1,400 programmes aimed at the youngest viewers, including the Teletubbies, Rosie and Jim, BadJelly the Witch and most recently, Boohbah.

In 1998, Anne was made a Fellow of The Royal Television Society and won The Veuve Clicquot Business Woman of the Year Award. In 2000, Anne became Commander of the British Empire for services to Children's Broadcasting and also received a Special BAFTA for her outstanding contribution to children's television.
